Meet Corall: Children's Yoga Teacher
Oct 05, 2026
Hello, I’m Corall (pronounced Co-rall)!
I’ve been practising yoga since my late teens, and I can still remember how good I felt after my first ever class - like I was floating on clouds! In 2022 my practice took me on an adventure through Nepal, India and Sri Lanka, where I completed my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh and a 50-hour Sound Healing training in Pokhara. Along the way, I lived in ashrams, attended meditation retreats and immersed myself in all things yoga, meditation and mindful living.
Since returning home from my travels, I’ve loved sharing movement, breath and mindfulness practices with friends, family and the wider community. I’ve also loved bringing all my new skills to such a cute new audience through Beam! Sharing mindfulness practices with children has been a beautiful and rewarding experience so far.
Outside of yoga and meditation you’ll find me walking dogs on Hampstead Heath or doing ecstatic dance.
What was the last thing you read?
I recently devoured all four novels in Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan Quartet, which is a coming-of-age series following two best friends. She has such a compelling narrative voice and vivid world-building ability.
Do you have a favourite holiday?
Definitely Sri Lanka. It’s such a beautiful island! I had just finished my yoga training when I went, and spent two months by the beach teaching yoga and eating the most delicious fruit I’ve ever tasted.
What’s your comfort movie or show?
It’s weird that it’s comforting, but I love The Mentalist. It’s a detective show. My grandpa was a detective, so I think it reminds me of him.
What’s your favourite yoga pose?
Dandasana and seated forward fold. I love how simple it is, and how it reminds us to be humble. I also love supine twists (and all kinds of twists really).
What would your perfect meal look like?
Definitely rice and dhal! Lentils are the ultimate comfort food for me.
