Meet Emma.T: Children's Yoga Teacher

I have been practicing Yoga for 20 years. In 2025 I travelled to the Himalayas to qualify as a classical yoga teacher with Sivananda Vedanta International school. I have been teaching adults yoga for a year.

I trained with Beam as a children’s yoga instructor in January 2026 and have been teaching with Beam since then.

Prior to training as a yoga teacher I worked as an occupational and then as a family therapist for NHS in Child and Adolescent mental health services for 26 years.

I am passionate about equipping children and young people with skills through yoga that will empower them to manage their own health and wellbeing for life.
