Meet Francesca: Children's Yoga Teacher

meet our teachers Feb 19, 2026

Hello, my name is Francesca.

I was born in America and moved to London in 2014 while working for National Geographic Channel, helping production companies pitch in their ideas for TV shows and working with the Nat Geo offices around the world.  I am half Italian, speak the language and spend most summers visiting my family in Milan and Sardinia.  I grew up in Miami, Florida where I learned to speak Spanish and developed a love for the beach and the water.  I competed swimming and diving until I went to university, and at the moment I love boxing, spinning, running, strength training and yoga. I also play tag rugby.

I have a passion for yoga and practice every week, and it really helps me to re-center, relax and be kinder to myself. I love working with children and young people to help them learn, think creatively and express themselves. In my free time, I enjoy being in nature, being active in the gym or outside, reading, exploring everything that London has to offer, and watching TV!

1.  What's one thing that can instantly make your day better?

Going on a walk in nature.  My dad once told me “if you’re in a bad mood, take a walk…and if you’re still in a bad mood afterwards, take another walk” and it always works!  I can clear my head, get some endorphins through movement and always finish feeling lighter and less worried about whatever it was that was bothering me when I started.

2. Ideally, how would you spend your birthday?

Beach day! Wake up early, pack sandwiches and snacks, and plop down in a beach chair with a good book and view of the ocean.  Alternate reading, swims in the oceans and naps until dinner time.

3.What do you do on your commute to/from work?

If I can remember to download them, I will sometimes watch TV shows on my phone - either a true crime documentary on Netflix or the latest drama that I’m in to.  Other times I will read a book, meditate, or take a nap!

4. What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour at Tottenham Stadium in 2025.

5. What would your perfect meal look like?

It’s a close tie between a delicious plate of pasta with red sauce and chicken milanese, or my mom’s beef stroganoff noodles with an appetiser of French onion dip and crisps, followed by her homemade brownies (recipe is top secret!).
