Meet Krisztina: Children's Yoga Teacher

meet our teachers May 23, 2025

Hello, I’m Krisztina – I’m a yoga teacher based in East London.
My journey with yoga began at 16 when I found a magical little Sivananda studio in
Budapest. Over the years, yoga has woven in and out of my life, helping me stay grounded
and find balance.

In the summer of 2024, I completed my 220-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Union in
Bali. Now, I teach adult classes and enjoy sharing the practice with others.
My favourite yoga pose is Wild Thing (Camatkarasana) – I love this pose because it
combines strength and flexibility, opening my heart and stretching my body in a way that
feels both liberating and empowering. It reminds me to embrace joy, freedom, and trust in my
own strength.

Which meal is your favourite: breakfast, lunch, or dinner?

Breakfast, especially on weekends. I like slow mornings when I can sleep a little longer, put
on some good music, and enjoy a relaxing start to the day. Pancakes are my go-to for these
special mornings.

What’s your favourite scent?

I like woody scents like frankincense, but I also like rose. Woody scents ground me and rose
has a more uplifting and calming effect on me. I’m also drawn to interesting scent
combinations.

Do you have a favourite holiday? Why or why not?

Summer holidays. I enjoy being by the sea, spending time outdoors, and how everything feels
a bit more vibrant. People seem happier in the summer, and the sun energises me.

How do you take your coffee?

I like my coffee with almond milk, but if it’s good quality, I take it black. Either way, I tend to drink it slowly.
