Meet Vaida: Children's Yoga Teacher

meet our teachers Aug 18, 2026

Hi, my name is Vaida.

I am a former ballroom dancer and dance teacher with a strong passion for yoga. I hold a BA in Dance from the University of Roehampton in London.

I first discovered yoga during a study exchange programme in New York at Manhattanville College, where I took it as one of my modules (how lucky?!). I haven’t stopped since – it’s now been six years.

For the past five years, I explored a different career path in tech sales and business consulting. However, my body kept craving movement, in-person connection, and a more free, relaxed and creative way of working with people.

Today, I work as a children’s yoga and dance teacher, and I truly love sharing the joy of movement with young children.

1. What's your favourite season and why?
Spring! I love how everything starts to bloom and come alive again, and how you can finally pack away your winter jacket. In Lithuania, where I’m from, it feels especially magical after our long, cold winters – we really crave that sunshine and warmth.

2. What activity instantly calms you?
Walking. It makes me feel free and gives me space when I start to spiral. It always helps me step out of that uncomfortable headspace.

3. What’s the best career decision you’ve ever made?
I’ve made this choice more than once: I follow my intuition. Even when an opportunity looks amazing on paper, what matters most to me is whether it truly feels right. Does it align with my values, my strengths, and the way I want to grow? If not, I keep looking.

4. How do you take your coffee?
Coffee is often my favourite part of the day – my little ritual. My go-to order at a café is an oat milk flat white.

5. What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
I love to dance – I do it pretty much every day. The moment I walk through the door at home, I say, “Hey Google, play disco.”
