Teachers are enhanced DBS checked, safeguarding & first aid trained.

3. ENJOY THE YOGA CLASSES!

All we need is enough space to sit in a circle. We can also work alongside themes at your setting.

SELECT AN AGE GROUP

EARLY YEARS
3 to 5 Year Olds

Children in this age group are filled with curiousity. They're constantly learning and thrive on imagination, positive affirmation and a really good story. Our early years yoga programme is tailored to develop children's emotional, physical and social well-being through fun story-led adventures, role-play, games, music and activities. 

We work in-line with the EYFS and it's great for settling new comers into the School. The class structure includes a warm up, a fun adventure followed by relaxation. 

If you have a particular theme throughout the term e.g. book week, environment, recycling etc... we can tailor yoga classes to work alongside your themes.

By the end of the class, children will feel more confident, energised and ready for the School day!

 

 

KEY STAGE ONE
5 to 7 Year Olds

This is an age children need to be stimulated and engaged.  Our programmes create a happy and healthy approach to allowing children to express themselves, develop their own self confidence and discover their true identity.  Our programmes are tailor made to each individual class providing a multi-sensory way of learning that accommodates each and every child.

We use fun and imaginative story-led adventures combined with visualisation and breathing techniques designed to improve and develop children's emotional, social and physical well-being. Classes typically start with a warm up, then an adventure followed by relaxation. By the end of each class children feel energised, refreshed and focused.

Favoured by many Schools for PE, PPA, PSHE, RE & Clubs.

KEY STAGE TWO
8 to 12 Year Olds

Growing up isn't always easy and for some children it can be more challenging than others as they transition from childhood to teens.  Yoga and Mindfulness can provide our tweens with important life tools to make the most out of this important, exciting and demanding chapter of their life.  Our theme based classes work hand in hand with this age group and the school curriculum, creating a good balance, offering fun and engaging classes, educational themes, challenging poses, games and a sense of calm. All the ingredients to help boost their psychological and physical well-being.

Our tailored made classes enhance academic performance using yoga and mindfulness practices and breathing/visualisation techniques. Schools often use Beam Academy to compliment SATS preparation to help combat stress and anxiety whilst improving their memory retention, self esteem, flexibility and overall health.
