The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our growing team. You will be trained to teach yoga to children in educational establishments across London, Oxford and Brighton.

What's It Like?
When you first join BEAM ACADEMY, you can expect to work flexible hours to work around your lifestyle and other job commitments. All we ask for is a minimum of 15 hours of availability each week (excluding weekends) to teach with us. We're unable to guarantee the teaching hours as this depends on the number of nurseries and schools we have at that point in time. We typically recruit teachers in areas we feel there will be a demand for the following term, therefore you may start off with 1 - 3 classes a week but our sales team will work on your area to try and allocate more classes. In time, we will build your classes around your availability and you will find yourself with a busy timetable! As we predominantly work in nurseries and schools, classes are usually term time only however we do have some nurseries who operate all year round. Should you need cover, we do have a pool of teachers you can ask for cover. A minimum of 1 months notice is needed to provide adequate time to look for covers and inform your nurseries and schools.

This Is For You If
- You have a personal yoga practice
- You teach adult yoga/pilates classes in the evening and looking to supplement your day with children's yoga classes
- You are a parent/carer looking to move into teaching to fit around your school errands
- You're looking to extend your yoga practice to children's yoga and would like someone to book you in for classes.
Disclaimer
BEAM ACADEMY services the education industry and due to the nature of our customers, we predominantly operate during the academic terms (with the occasional classes that run all year round in private nurseries). This means there may not be any classes during half terms, christmas, easter and summer holidays.
It's also important to understand that this role is not something to financially rely on due to the nature of us operating during term times. We therefore prefer someone who works another job to keep them financially stable or if you do not have the financial pressure, then this would work for you.
Classes are not guaranteed as this depends on how many bookings we get, we therefore take on teachers in particular areas and you may start off with one or two classes a week but we will aim to add classes to your timetable over the year. We therefore ask for 3 mornings and 3 afternoons of availability during the weekday for us to work with. Once we do book you in for a class, you will have the nursery/school for the same day and time every week during the term.
